ABOUT ME

 

 

Candice Goucher, PhD, is a writer, cook, and professor of history at Washington State University, Vancouver. She has conducted historical and archaeological research in Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, the Caribbean, and Mauritius and was one of two lead scholars for the project Bridging World History (Annenberg/Corporation for Public Broadcasting), a twenty-six-part video series and interactive website. When not cooking food for friends and family at home, she leads culinary tours to the Caribbean.
